Starting School September 2026

Welcome to a new school year.

For the first day, all children in Year 1 - 5 will come onto the main playground to be collected by their new teacher. Gates will open at 8:40am and close at 8:50am. If you are not sure of your child's class teacher's name please, don't worry - staff will be on hand to help!

Y6 will be met by Year 6 staff at the front Year 6 gate, next to the car park entrance.

Reception parents will have received an email telling them what time to arrive as some are starting in the morning and some in the afternoon (only for day 1).

On day 2, Thursday, all gates will be open between 8:40am - 8:50am; pupils will go straight into their classroom to support less congested drop-off, so parents can drop-off and leave site in a timelier manner.  This is a change from last year, so that this is more convenient for parents and children can get settled more quickly into the day.  No more waiting on the playground!
